Cellulite can affect up to 95% of women in their adult life.  Cellulite can have a dimpled and lumpy appearance on the skin which is most noticeable on the buttocks, stomach and thighs and unfortunately can lead to body consciousness and lack of self esteem.  Men can also be affected by cellulite, however its mainly women due to particular type of fat and connective tissue.

Cellulite forms in areas with the least circulation, that means its difficult to shift without activity.  Consistent exercise (running, swimming, walking) and skin warming exercises (yoga, pilates) would help with dimpled skin.  Eating healthy, low fat foods such as fruits, vegetables and fibres can help one avoid cellulite.  Similarly, maintaining a healthy weight, quit smoking, reducing stress are recommended to prevent cellulite.

At SW11 Medical Centre we offer a variety of effective treatments or a combination to reduce stubborn cellulite, give you the best results and leave your body looking smoother.    Our range of advanced cellulite treatments use several non-invasive techniques for removing cellulite, with no pain and no downtime, so you can resume normal activities straight after your treatment.

Many of our cellulite treatments also help improve the quality of your skin by stimulating blood flow and boosting the production of collagen, the body’s own skin-healing protein.
